Helping with Email In today’s world most people see email as the best form of communication. There is however a large sector of the population that do not have access to that technology or know how to use it. As a CAP YI you can help bridge that gap by helping them set up and use an email account.
 
There are several choices available today, listed below are some of the free email services. Once they have chosen a site simply help them fill in the information and form the account. If they have email addresses of friends and family show them how to add them into the address book and how to send and receive files.
 
After they are all set up and comfortable sending and receiving lots of people want to learn how to attach either documents or pictures to their email. These must be on a disk, flash drive, portable hard drive or on the computer that they are using. Look for the attach feature it usually can be found around the top header bar of the program.
